This continued on until by some miracle, life were brought back once again. Humans and animals have returned, but changed. In a blink of an eye, society had rebuilt itself once again with no haste. Featuring human-like creatures that have been mutated living amongst other humanoids.

> In Variegation, there are 2 kinds of creatures. Humanoids and mutants; with some being either mutated or was born as a mutant, being called pre-mutants.

> Despite what you think, humanoids are not exactly like humans from the past. Some of these humanoids lack the full set of fingers, have varying body types, new sets of teeth and many more.

> Pre-mutants on the other hand are unique. They can be animals, monsters, humanoid-like creatures. Some may even possess abilities that others do not. Some mutants however were actually mutated from something else, making them completely different from what they used to be back then. Humanoids can similarly undergo mutation if they were to take in a lot of radiation. If mutants were to take in more radiation however, they will become ultra-mutants.
